Chess for Schools welcomes children with special needs. We often have students with some degree of Asperger’s Syndrome and even Autism. Once children with Asperger’s Syndrome discover areas of chess that they like they can be totally absorbed by it.
They like chess because of the clear rules and logical aspects. They enjoy the possibilities of studying chess and becoming better than their class mates. Chess is a game that knows no bounds in terms of studying. Indeed, there have been more books published about chess than all other sports combined!
